The half marathon is an official competition of the Japan Association of Athletics Federation. As many schools who regularly participate in the Hakone Ekiden will also run in this event, you can experience competing up close with top runners.

| Event policy・Disclaimer | Participants must agree to the following conditions before applying. 1. Cancellation after application due to personal reasons will not be accepted, and overpayments and duplicate deposit will not be refunded. 2. Participation fee will not be refunded for cancellation or event reduction due to earthquake, natural disaster, inclement weather, accident, pandemic (including COVID-19), or unforeseen occurrences. If the event is canceled due to the COVID-19, a decision will be made on the availability of refunds (by Quo Card) and the amount of the refund depending on the time of cancellation.
